The MeerWissen initiative is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development to provide policy-makers with the scientific information they need for the effective management and conservation of Africa’s ocean and coasts. The implementation of MeerWissen is facilitated by GIZ’s Marine Conservation Support Project. In these first episodes we will highlight some of the ongoing partnership-projects as well as cross-cutting concepts and topics regarding the protection and sustainable use of coastal ecosystems.
